Less than three quarters of a mile (approx.15 mins walk) from the lovely Fairbourne beach, this self-catering holiday cottage enjoys a wonderful hillside location perfect for walkers, or for a romantic break.
The area is renowned for its fantastic climbing, surfing, mountain biking, watersports and wildlife.
This cosy cottage has been renovated into a welcoming, well-equipped retreat, including lovely sea views from the garden. There are stunning hill and mountain walks from the cottage, past the beautiful Blue Lake, valleys, waterfalls and rugged mountains.
Nearby Fairbourne has a long sandy beach, a nature reserve and the Fairbourne narrow gauge railway, as well as a small mainline railway station where an 11 minute ride can trancport you across the stunning Mawddach estuary to the busier seaside holiday town of Barmouth.
The towns of Tywyn (11 miles) and Aberdovey (15 miles) are a short train ride from Fairbourne, and Dolgellau is 8.7 miles away by road.
